    VIDA VERDE is a landscape architecture studio founded in 2018. It is the natural continuation of a long-standing career in renowned firms and a personal step toward transforming acquired knowledge into independent practice.

    We approach each challenge with enthusiasm, inspiring one another to think creatively and create spaces rich in meaning, function, and experience.

    Our team is united by a shared belief that the landscape is not a static backdrop, but a living, multilayered space with the potential to bring about real change. We approach our projects interdisciplinarily, believing that dialogue between different fields leads to high-quality, long-term solutions. Everything we value can be summed up in two words: VIDA VERDE – life and greenery.

    In every project, our first step is to carefully listen to the space – to understand its character, layers, and relationship with its users. We design functional, distinctive, and sustainable spaces. We create new spatial values that foster an emotional connection between users and the landscape.

    Project implementation involves active collaboration with contractors and construction supervision, while the final phase includes long-term monitoring of the space’s development. We believe that landscape is not a finished product but a living process that evolves, bchanges, and grows.

    U svakom projektu, naš prvi korak je pažljivo osluškivanje prostora – razumijevanje njegovog karaktera, slojevitosti i odnosa s korisnicima.

    Zatim analiziramo kontekst, uvijek prethodi dizajnu. Uzimamo u obzir šire urbanističke uvjete, mikroklimatske čimbenike i postojeću zelenu infrastrukturu. Time osiguravamo da naša rješenja proizlaze iz prostora, a ne da mu se nameću.

    Projektni proces razvijamo postepeno, od prvih koncepcijskih ideja do razrade detalja. Svako rješenje nastaje kroz promišljanje mogućnosti i ograničenja, s jasnim ciljem stvaranja prostora koji su funkcionalni, estetski i održivi. Naš dizajn se temelji na dijalogu – s prostorom, zajednicom i strukom.

    U kreativnoj fazi oblikujemo prostorne narative koji odgovaraju na konkretne potrebe, ali i potiču emocionalnu povezanost korisnika s krajobrazom. Biramo biljne vrste i materijale koji su primjereni kontekstu, otporni i dugoročno održivi.

    Realizacija projekta uključuje aktivnu suradnju s izvođačima i nadzor nad izvedbom, dok završna faza podrazumijeva praćenje razvoja prostora kroz vrijeme – jer vjerujemo da krajobraz nije konačan proizvod, već proces koji se živi, mijenja i raste.

    Our work has earned national and international recognition, including the Global Schindler Award, the Rektor’s Award, and honors at the Salon of Landscape Architecture in Belgrade. Through competitions, research, and global initiatives, we continue to push the boundaries of landscape design.

    • 2017 – The Global Schindler Award – International recognition for the competition project “Rethinking Public Space”, São Paulo, Brazil (Lara Bolković, M.Arch.Land.)

    • 2017 – Competition for the design of an urban-architectural solution for the thematic park Bundek-East (Racinjak) – 4th Prize (Lara Bolković, M.Arch.Land.)

    • 2019 – Competition for the conceptual landscape design of the Hotel Sheraton, Srebreno (Mr. Sc. Vida Vladimir, M.Sc. Agr. & Lara Bolković, M.Arch.Land.)

    • 2019 – Maks Fabiani Student Award from the Republic of Slovenia for the project “São Paulo: Rethinking Public Space” (Lara Bolković, M.Arch.Land.)

    • 2018 – Jane’s Walks Pula – Founder and project leader of the international initiative Jane’s Walk Pula in collaboration with the City of Pula and Mediterranean Institute (Lara Bolković, M.Arch.Land.)
